My name is Vicki Cooper and I am the owner, breeder, and handler of Praetorian Shih Tzu.
I began breeding and showing Shih Tzu in 1989. I have groomed, handled, and finished over thirty Shih Tzu to their Championship title.
I live in the beautiful Emerald Valley of Springfield/Eugene along with my two sons and their families. My aging mother, fondly known as wonderful Wonda, lives with me along with our Shih Tzu family.
I earned my Bachelors Degree in Sociology at the University of Oregon and I am a retired Drug and Alcohol specialist.
Is a calling of dedication to the Shih Tzu breed, very much a personal one, to go out into the dog world, rise above and beyond a hobby of passion and share my learned knowledge and experience with new Shih Tzu Fanciers.
It is to breed excellent quality purebred Shih Tzu that adhere to the American Kennel Club Standard for the breed.
Is to continue to study this breed, practice handling them, observe, and always strive for reaching excellence.
I believe competing with the professional handlers, learning from the professionals and maintaining a teachable attitude will serve me in maintaining this goal.
I will pursue excellence in the Shih Tzu Breed and to this end I dedicate myself to Shih Tzu and the sport of purebred dogs. My vision is to breed the once in a lifetime correct example of the purebred Shih Tzu.
